Thoughts on Thursday

Have you ever felt you can't do it all??? I feel like I need to hire a nanny, a house keeper and a chef just to keep life going.. Why do we always feel so buys??? For me, I think I take on so much ( I feel like I need to do it all) Sometimes I feel like my time just gets away from me and sad that I did not accomplish my goals.

I wish::
I wish I could work out 2-3 times a week
I wish I could quit my job and clean, cook, and be an amazing MOM, WIFE..
I wish I had the cleanest house
I wish my house was decorative so cute
I wish I had an eye for decorating
I wish we had time to do it all.........

We want to have another baby and all i think about is...HOW ARE WE GOING TO MANGE ANOTHER LITTLE ONE???

I would love to hear how Mommies out there handle more than 1 kid? How do you do it?

  1. You are not alone! I have just accepted that there are going to be toys on the ground 3 sec after I pick them all up and that my housework will never be done. It would be nice to have a nanny and a cook!

  2. Thanks for stopping by my blog! Just have to say, as a FT working mom of 3, you CAN do it. You just have to make your schedule ahead of time...especially when it comes to working out. Just decide what is important to you, and put that first. :) www.californiatocarolina.com

  3. I feel ya, sometimes it's all just too much. But that is so exciting about thinking about another little baby! If it helps no one's home is totally clean, unless it's been made into a museum like the house from A Christmas Story haha.

  5. The best advice I ever got was that something will always suffer. When work is going well, family life will suffer a bit. If you quit your job to focus on your family, that has to give for awhile. If you're playing with your kids, you have to give up cleaning out the hall closet etc etc!

  6. I am right there with you when it comes to adding another child to the family. It's scary to think how hard things will be. Especially working full time (I'm gone from 7:30 am to 6:30 pm). Lots of families seem to make it work though, so hopefully we can survive it as well!!

  7. What we all need is a WIFE! haha I will tell you that adding another, while more work, is not so bad as you would think. I definitely learned to close doors and I really, really had to learn to ask for help instead of just assuming everyone knew what I wanted. And hardest thing..I had to accept that they were not necessarily (they including my man) going to do things the way I did. I honestly think I would be bored to tears if I didn't have so much to do...a day here and there is nice but I enjoy the crazy.

  8. Get out of my head! I feel the same. We had #2 last July. I had to give myself a lot of grace and honestly still do. God gives you all need. It was an adjustment and we had to adapt to a new normal but I wouldn't have it any other way.

  9. As a friend once told me, "you just have to do it." I always feel like I'm failing at soooo many things, but honestly, and this is going to sound super cheesy, but every time I snuggle with my babies, hold them in my arms and they smile and say they love me, I know I'm doing something right. I may have burned dinner, the laundry is everywhere, I look like a pirate and I have a million dishes in the sink, but that is when I forget everything. Those "I love yous" are the absolute only things that matter!

    This gig is hard and messy, go for it and have that baby! The extra giggles are worth the mess of it all!
