Happy Monday!!!

Today was a great day!!! We had teacher planning day so I was able to catch up and do things I needed to do. I am sorry I have been neglecting my blog, I am trying to find how to balance mommy hood and blogging.. How do you do it?

Hubby and I went on an in prompt to VACATION..... to Chalreston.. More coming this week bout the trip..

I was also nominated for Teacher of the Month where I live. I would love if you guys could go on and vote for me :) Thank you so much

5 on Friday!!!

As, I sit here and try and write my 5 on Friday I can only come up with a couple things... please forgive me for only writing about a couple......

1.I went back to work on Monday and it has been the hardest week of my life.. Leaving Lily Jane has been tough... She has not wanted to take naps and just wants to eat all the time.. I don't know if its because I am gone or a growth spurt.. She will be 4 months on March 24!! Also, pumping at work has been very hard being a Teacher... I am going to try and work out a schedule that will work for me...  Here is a sneak peak from her 3 month pics :)

2) As you know for Lent I gave up Shopping or buying anything for myself.. So far I have done a great job. This morning I was reading my daily devotional and this was the verse.....

Keep your life free from love of money, and be content with what you have, for he has said, 'I will never leave you nor forsake you.'" Hebrews 13:5 (ESV)

I felt as God was speaking right to me.. I need to be content with what I have and not think buying things are going to make me Happy. My family and friends should make me happy, and doing things for others. Sometimes I feel like I am being selfish, so I am so glad this is teaching me that money will not provide happiness.

So Sorry

I am so sorry I have neglected   my blog all week.. Going back to work has been a struggle balancing  everything... I hope that I can make a calendar to get to my blog 2 times a week for now.. I hate being away from Lily Jane, so when I get home from work I can't put her down :)

5 on Friday!!

This weeks 5 on Friday is dedicated to my sweet pea Lily Jane. I have been blessed to be able to stay home with her for 3 months and Monday is my first day back. I am a teacher so I am excited to see my students but so sad I have to leave her. Its going to be very hard. I know she will be in good hands though because my mom and mother in law are going to keep her until summer so I am very LUKCY!!! Here are some my best memories with her :)

Mommy is going to miss you so much Lily Jane!!!

40 days of LENT

This year for Lent I decided to give up something that is going to be extremely hard for myself...Shopping, I am going to go 40 days without buying anything I don't need or anything for myself... I need to learn to be content with what I have and not always want more.. I saw that Natasha from Hello Happiness is doing this challenge as well, so I decided to do it as well. I was looking at other blogs and I found 1 Year Wardrobe Resolution and decided to take her mini-challenge of 40 days!!  SO WHO IS WITH ME :)

Weekend Update!! FAT TUESDAY

This past weekend I went to visit my Uncle and Aunt in Orange Beach, AL. I took Lily Jane for her second beach trip. She was so good and did not cry once I was so proud of her. In Orange Beach they are serious about Mardi Gras, so we took Lily Jane to her first Mardi Gras parade

We also went shopping and I scored some cute items at the JCrew Outlet.. They were having a huge sale and I think they still are :)  Can't wait for the weather to get warmer, so I can wear my new clothes
