New Year Resolution

I think this is a struggle for all women, those who work outside and inside the home.  I know my life is out of balance. There are several of times I  take on too many things and cause more stress in my life than happiness.  I need to learn to say NO..I feel like someone will be mad or I am not doing my best if I say no. Or people will judge me and I need to let go of what people think of me and be happy for me and not others... I want to be aware of my limitations...what can I really handle in my schedule and not be overwhelmed?  I have also been dealing with Thyroid issues and I think if I learn to balance my life this will really help because a big deal is stress really causes it to be all crazy.. I need to take care of my self so I can be the best Mommy to Lily Jane!!!

These are musts:
1. An un-rushed daily time of prayer and study with my heavenly father.
2. Real, you have all my attention time with my family.
3. Exercise EVERY day. Very hard with a 1 year old.. BUT i am going to find time!!!
Restoring balance. Spiritual growth, family time, health, and career.  A commitment I have to make...

  1. I battled with hyperthyroidism for a few years, it seems to have normalized now but it was a difficult time.

Taking care of ourselves as mothers really does take a back seat. Here's to putting our health as a priority in 2015!

  3. Good for you - exercising every day! Try not to beat yourself up if you cannot find the time, but I think that it's an AWESOME goal!!!

  4. I can totally relate to your post. One of my biggest challenges is saying no to others. My plate is always over flowing with too many things. And then when I take something off it seems like there is always someone/something waiting to be added. I take comfort in knowing that I'm not the only one out there that experiences the challenge of finding balance. Thanks for sharing this :)
