Mommy Moments
Happy Monday!!! This weekend I had one of those Mommy moments were I thought to myself really Lily Jane... Lily Jane is now 13 months and all over the place. Her walking has taken off and her talking skills are getting better. Sometimes I just like to sit back and watch how Lily Jane plays and what she does. It started when I picked her up from daycare Friday, her teacher was sharing with me that Lily Jane likes to take things from the other kids or dose not like to take long naps.. I thought to myself OH NOOO... I have that child. Saturday we went to eat and she has started throwing her food everywhere and not wanting to eat anything :( It really got me upset because I kept thinking what have I done, I have not taught her how to share and so on... Then I was talking to other mommies and it was really nice to know I was not alone. Sometimes I feel like when you have the first one you are in this big world alone and know one else is out there facing this but in reality so many moms are out there dealing with the same thing. I hope that we can all be real and share our struggles and support each other because we are all in this together :) Each of us at different stages of Mommy hood but we can all share what we are going through now.. I found this cute little thing 100 Things I want to Teach my Daughter and I hope as Lily Jane gets old I can teach her all these things ;)

DeleteThanks you so much for this list! I love it! I'm a Canadian, living in the US now for 13 years....the one that hit me right in the gut was "Homesickness never gets easier". So true. Although my "home" is in fact here with my husband and 3 kids, there is something so incredibly comforting when those plane wheels touch back down in my hometown :-) Thanks for linking up on Tuesday Talk!- Mandy from Almond Place
