Happy Friday!!!

I am so excited it is Friday...I love Fridays and I look forward to them when each week starts!!

1.Last weekend we were very lucky to be able to go to the TN vs. Iowa game. My Husband is a HUGE VOL fan so he was so excited when they won. We woke up Friday morning and drove over to Jacksonville to meet up with some friends that were coming down from NC. We got there around 10:30 and found our parking spot and was able to visit with our friends and tailgate before the game. I will have to say there was so much orange there and I am so proud of all the support they had. TN has had so many ups and downs and I am thinking they are working their way UP.. I am so happy that they came out with and win.. This was such a fun bowl game.. Can't wait to go to the next one :)

2. I will have to say I feel like I have been doing a great job with the goals I have set for myself so far.. (Of course I have been doing good it has only been a week haha) The first goal was to try and work out in some sort of way for a few minutes a day. I have been either running, going to yoga or playing/running outside with Miss. Lily Jane. I am trying to be more active and not just come home from work because I am tired and lay around. I have ran a total of 4 miles for the week ( I know it is small but perfect for me)

3. The next goal was to cook more meals. This week I made a homemade chicken and dumplings, shredded chicken, homemade pizza and pot roast. All but 1 was made in my crock pot.. I love that thing so much. I normally put the meal on in the morning so when we get home it is ready to go...

I usually put a whole chicken in there and cook it all day but who has time for that.. I got a already cook chicken and pulled it apart. I then put chicken broth and cream of chicken in a pot and let it boil for a few minutes. I then added the chicken carrots and celery into the pot. I put it on a low simmer for 45 mintues-1hr. I then took Bisquick and mixed it with milk to make the dumplings. To make the dumplings put the soup back up to a boil and drop the mixture off a spoon into the pot and let it boil for 1 min. then turn the heat back to a simmer for 7-10 minutes and there you go :)

4. Who all was able to shop at the Lilly Sale.. I was so happy of all the goodies I got.. If you go to shop what was your favorite piece. If you want to see what I got you can click Here to see ;) With that being said.... I know you girls have all seen that LILY is going into TARGET.. Girls this is very dangerous because I love the 2 and they are going to be in the same place. I will be there April 19th the day they launch..

5. The Circus is here!!! We are going to try and take Lily Jane to the Circus and I am very excited yet nervous.. Not sure if she is too young but, think she will really like seeing all the animals and things going on. We will probably not make it the whole time but I want to try to take and do more things with her and give her a chance instead of saying she is way to young for that... I want to give it a try!! I will let you know how it goes..

And the circus! That reminds me I need to see when it comes to Omaha...Cruz will LOVE it this year.
