Happy Black Friday!!!

I hope everyone had a wonderful Thanksgiving with their families. One thing about Thanksgiving that I love is eating whatever I want and then going Shopping!!! Black Friday always gets me excited

1) Thanksgiving is all about Giving Thanks... I am so very thankful for my family and friends. Lily Jane has been one of the best blessing in our lives. Monday she turned a year old and what a year makes... She is full of so much joy and has taught us so much!!! I THANK GOD everyday for her amazing smile

3. Today we are taking Lily Jane to the ZOO!! I hope she likes getting to see all the animals.. Pics to come 

4. 4 More Weekends until Christmas.. I can't wait.. Our house is starting to look like Christmas. Lily Jane has found the tree and is starting to pull it down.. OH No.... 

5. I am so Thankful for all the Friendships that have grown from this blog. Can't wait to see how many more blossom!!!

 

Weekend Recap

This past weekend we celebrated our sweet Princess turning 1!! What an emotional time it was to celebrate this sweet little girls 1st year of life. She has brought so much joy into our lives that I could never have imaged. She is truly a gift from God. Here is a sneak peak of her eating cake for the first time.. More will come with a post from her birthday and where all the stuff came from!!!!

To say the least she LOVED the cake!!!

Five on Friday!!!!

This week my 5 on Friday is going to be a little different because this week has been so crazy, with Lily Jane's 1st birthday party on Saturday and having everyone coming into town.. Which I am so excited but nervous all at the same time

So I am doing a little post on Family Traditions


This will be my Minis 2nd Christmas. Her first Christmas was a blur as she was only 4 weeks old. I think my husband and I were so thrown off with having a new baby and a life change. I am so excited to start some family traditions. Growing up we never really had set family traditions that we did so now that I am a Mommy I want to start them with my family. I think we will do more when Lily Jane can really understand wants going on..

FSU Stay Strong

When I woke up this morning I was not excepting to hear that there was a shooting at FSU. When we hear about them on the news and they are not near us we are very sad but when it happens close to home it effects us in a different way. I was very sadden by the news, as I have studied many times in the Strozier  library. I am not sure what goes through peoples mind to go in and shoot people, I guess we will never know. I am still in shock by this and pray for the all the students and families that were affected by this.. I am so grateful for the wonderful job the FSU Police and TPD Police did and responded in such a quick time..

Its Starting to Look Like Christmas!!

I don't know about you but the temperatures have dropped so low in Florida this week that it is starting to feel more like winter and Christmas time :) which makes me so excited.. Christmas is my favorite holiday. This Christmas will be a little different than last year. Lily Jane will be a year old and she is into everything, so I am so scared about the Christmas Tree. My husband and I have talked about not putting ornaments on the bottom that are breakable.. I am so in Love with all of TARGETS GOLD decor for Winter. I have been obsessed with anything Gold decor. Weekend Recap…..

This weekend was very nice and relaxing… On Friday the hubby and I actually got to go on a DATE Night…. we have not been on a date in who knows how long. Nana kept Lily Jane and it was so nice… We went out to dinner and just got drinks after and had cupcakes to celebrate 3 year anniversary.

 Saturday we went and got our mini and watched football, and I did last minute crafts for little Miss 1st friday this SAT ahhhh…. We Love our family time and football

Sunday we went to Church and had family photos. I want to start early teaching Lily Jane the importance of God and instill our values early on…

Its FRIDAY!!!!! Hooray

This week has gone by so fast……I loved having Tuesday off wish every week was a 4 day work week.. That would be nice huh?

I am teaming up with 5 on FRIDAY girls :) I just love this 

1) Planning my little mini's birthday has both been fun and sad.. I can't believe next weekend I will have a 1 year old… She has brought so much joy into our lives and don't know what I would do without her… She is the best give from GOD!!! 

2) On Tuesday will be me and my husbands 3rd year wedding anniversary.. He is my best friend, my baby daddy and really is the best husband.. We are going on a DATE….what a DATE?? I don't even remember what a date is anymore hahah… Nana is going to be keeping Lily Jane which will be weird but nice. We try to make time for each other but it does not always happen. I think finding time with your husband when you have kids is the most important thing….. I can't wait to see what 30 more years will be like. God has truly blessed us….

3) GO NOLES…….They are still undefeated and is playing Miami my dad and brothers favorite team…I hope the NOLES CAN Win..

4) ARM Candy… I have been making these amazing bracelets inspired by Bourbon and Boweties.. They are great birthday or Christmas gifts.. I do Ship :) 

5)HAPPY FRIDAY….. I love the red cup season at Starbucks……… I treat myself to one often durning the holidays…… whoever came up with the red cups were amazing ;)

Hooray it is Friday!!! Our family is finally feeling better, I am so excited.



1) I can't believe in just 2 weeks my baby will be a year old… Where does time go. I am trying to sneak in all the snuggles before she gets on the move and won't stop.. I have enjoyed watching this little girl grow and become here own little self over the year…. I can't wait to see what the next year has in store….

2) I am a sucker for all Fall lines that have come out.. I have bought several things for Lily Jane. Gap and Old Navy have adorable things out…. Here are a few.. and SHHH….don't tell DADDY I bought Lily Jane baby uggs

3. Family Pics and Year old pics ;) 

We have our family pics and 1 year old pics coming up..Ahh.. Do family pictures give you anxiety?? It is so hard to find 3 coordinating outfits that fit and all look good.. Here is what we have so far.. Tell me what you think :)

4. I love fall weather…. When it gets cold I love to make my favorite soup.. Taco Soup… The ingredients are: Beans (if you like them) ground beef, taco seasoning, rotel, and corn. Then top it with cheese and sour cream. I also like to use chips for dipping :) Perfect for cool weather
