Where Oh Where have you Benn....?

I want to apologize for being such a bad blogger :( We have had a lot going on.. I started a new school, we are still working on the house...yes after 3 months being moved in we are still doing this and that. This week I am going to start part of our house tour with before and after pics :) I am so so excited..

Also, our sweet Lily Jane is going through a rough stage.. If she dose not get her way she is throwing down and says NO a lot... I think we are hitting the terrible 2's.. It's so hard to punish her. How did you discipline your children at almost 2?

    My daughter is 28 months and since about 15 months we've been doing timeout. 1 minute per year, so now she is at two minutes. If she gets up her time starts over. For us it has worked well so far. Also flow through is huge. If I say no or say i will provide a consequence then there is no going back. It's hard but well worth the effort. We've only had a few tantrums and they quickly end now that she knows we're serious about her behavior. Goood luck!

    I hear ya on the terrible twos! And lady, you have so much going on! I have less than half of that going on and cannot bring myself to keep a regular blog schedule. Little Sugar Plum is the cutest! I die for all of the monogrammed goodness! I am just starting to read 1-2-3 Magic because I have heard good things about it. But seriously, just checked out a ton of books from the library on two year olds because we are going through a rough spell too! Hang in there!

    You are a busy Momma, no need to apologize. Terrible two's is tough. I am not a Mother so I don't have any advice for you but I totally understand how hard it is it. Hang in there, it will get better.
