5 on Friday

1. This week we had the painters come paint Lily Jane's room. I love how it turned out even though it is still has a little blue tint. I have learned that I can't sweat the small things and that it will look good once we add things to the walls and put the curtains up. This weekend our goal is to put the crib together and hang the curtains, more pictures to come this weekend :) 

2. There was a Smockaholic sale where I live last night. It is like a sale for gently used smocks that people want to sale. I got a 3 cute little dresses for my princess. I am in love with Smocks.

3. So, I have had this embroidery/sewing machine but never used the embroidery side and I tired it for the first time. I am getting addicted.. I want to monogram all her clothes and everything in my house. I already vinyl monogram everything. I still have a lot to learn and my first try with applique was very messy but I wanted to post my pictures of my learning stages, because I know some people out there think that the first project will be perfect but I am still learning :) 

4.  I really like the Critter chairs Pottery Barn kids has but they are $129 and I could not see my self spending that much money. Yesterday I was at Costco and they have almost the same chair for $20. I could not believe it. So I bought one for my nephew and Lily Jane. I was so excited!! 

5. I am having my first baby shower at my moms lake house next weekend and I am so excited. I can't wait to see what Lily Jane gets!!!!! 

5 on Friday!!!!!

I am so glad that it is Friday!!!!

1. This week I had to do my Glucose testing. At first I did not think it was too bad but towards the end where I almost passed out, I did not think it was fun anymore... I knew for sure I failed, but my doctors called me and I PASSED!!!!!!

2. It is our First home football game which I am very excited about. I love tailgating. This will be my first tailgate pregnant so it should be interesting. I love making Buffalo Chicken Dip. That is my go to recipe for football games.

3. I have started to decorate my house for fall. My husband yells at me and tells me its only September, but I like to get into the Fall mood. I went to Bath and Body works and bought some of their candles and wall plug ins to make it feel and smell like fall. I like the autumn and apple scent.  What are your favorite candles and Fall scents? I would like to try new ones

4.  I picked out a stroller, and I am so excited. I have read a lot of reviews and searched and searched for a long time. It dose not help that I am only 5'0 and needed a safe and light stroller to get the baby in and out by my self. So I went with the.................Britax Agile.. Has anyone used this set before?

5. I know I posted this in my last blog, but we had to order a new crib and I was kind of sad but I hope I love this one just as much.. It should be here this weekend!!!! I also have the painters coming this weekend so it will be a great weekend!!

Nursery......

So today is a sad day... I got all my furniture delivered and when I opened the box the dresser was all dented and had a huge chuck missing :( so I spent the last day or too looking for a new one. I was really starting to like the one I picked out and could not find exactly what I was looking for. So i decided to find another one and ordered it last night.. I hope it comes in and it amazing with no marks on it. it is off white but I think it will look pretty. Here it is....

Five on Friday!!!

1. So excited that football season has kicked off!! This weekend I have to get my glucose testing done 

:( then I will be watching football ALL day long!!! 

MY husband is a huge VOL fan so we will probably be going to a sports bar to find his game on.. 

2. We finally picked a paint color for Lily Jane'e room... I can't wait to see how it turns out. My husband is about ready to kill be after 20 greys letter, and this still might not be the best grey but I am going to stick with it and hope for the best

3. This week has gone by so fast with a 4 day work week. Wish every week was a 4 day work week :) 

4. Lily Jane's furniture came in this week too.. So I am so excited to put it together  and set it up... For pictures to follow!!!! 

5. The sad part of this week is that I got a stupid sinus cold :( There must be something in the air that is out because all of a sudden my nose is stuffy and all the drainage that goes with it is not fun... Hope I can feel better. Being sick an pregnant  is no fun :(
