Weekend Rewind +Easter Recap

This weekend was a great weekend!! It was more about Jesus and the reason we celebrate Easter than just another weekend..
Friday Lily Jane got to spend time with NANA because her daycare was closed but Mommy and Daddy still had to work :( Not fair.. Then we met up with some friends after we picked her up...

Saturday Mr. went golfing and Lily Jane and I got to have a girls day. We went to Target shopping and then met some friends for her first Easter Egg Hunt.. She was not quite sure what was going on.. and with all this Pollen so crazy she is so congested and has a bad cough.. I think we are getting very close to getting tubs put into her ears. to help her.. Saturday once daddy got done golfing I monogrammed and then we went to a friends for dinner and grilled out..

we are in trouble she already knows how to shop the SALE racks :) 

Sunday we went to Church and then went out to for brunch/lunch with my In Laws and the rest of the family.. Lily Jane again did not like the Easter bunny.. She did get o run around look for a couple eggs.. We were all so tired we all took a 2.5 hour NAP... What say that again.. Yes we all took a 2.5 hour nap it felt so good :)
We did not get a lot of good pictures because Lily Jane is now in this stage where she runs when she sees a camera or my phone out in her face :( You have to sneak up on her to even get a lil pic ;(

Happy Friday + Easter Weekend

Happy Friday!!! Each Friday that passes is another week closer to be being off for the summer and I love it!! I hope everyone has a wonderful Good Friday and Easter Weekend!!

1) I sometimes get caught up in the Easter holiday with all the cute decorations, the egg hunts and seeing the Easter Bunny that I really have to stop and think about the true meaning that Jesus died for our sins and shed the blood for us. How amazing is it to know that we have God to save us and that he died for all of our sins. We had a Passion Play at church last weekend and it really makes you think about what Jesus went through and how grateful we are !

2) I am loving this whole snail mail thing I started. It is not to late to join if you want to.. I love getting all these wonderful letters in the mail and being able to learn more about my blog friends. It is so sweet to get such sweet letters. Just finished writing all my letters and girls they are back in the mail :) :)

3)Happy Monogramming!! I spent all last week monogramming last week :) The bags turned out so cute I loved how they turned out!!  Love Spring Colors and monogram things

4) I am hosting our Easter Lunch this year so I been trying to find inspiration on how to decorate my table for everyone and this is what I got!!!!

5) I am leaving you with this... I got a video from my child's teacher........It was so funny :) Love this little girl so much

Hippity Hoppy

This year we are going to get Lily Jane more for her Easter Basket. I am not going to lie last year she was only 5 months so we did not get her much. This year since she is kind of aware of whats going on we went and got her a couple things.. Here is what is going to be in her basket this year :)

1. We had to get Lily Jane a seersucker Monogrammed Bathing suit!! I adorable it I think they are so cute and since I can monogram myself it was even better. I can't wait to post pictures of her in it :) If you want to order one let me know I can get you one and monogram it for you 

2. Being a teacher  I had to get Lily Jane new Easter books. Every holiday I get her 1-2 books so the next holiday we can pull them out and decorate her room. We have to get the books that are hard because she likes to rip out the pages. Happy Easter Mouse! Is one of my favorites you can find it here

3. Sippy cup with a straw is a must because little Miss. Lily Jane is trying to be independent and dose not want help with anything and always wants to drink out of my cups with straws so we decided to get her a couple cups to see if she would like them . You can get them at Target, Walmart they are by Munchkin

4. Llama Llama Easter Egg book- This is such a cute little book. All the students in my class loved this book so this year I let my class pick what book I am getting Lily Jane and this is what they picked!!  You can get it here 

5. Gold is the new black. I have been eyeing these Salt Water Sandals by Hoy for a while now. I finally decided to order them.. I am in love with them. They look so comfy and if Lily Jane likes them we will be getting more colors!!  You can find them here
