Happy Friday + Hello Fresh

Happy Friday... This week has been a long stressful week. Sweet baby Porter has been fussy and not feeling well..


1. Porter was having some blood in is poop and the first thing I thought was the milk allergy like his little sister.. but i have already cut out dairy.. So I had no idea what to do.. W went to the dr and they are thinking it is reflux.. Anyone else had this issue? They told us to try a probiotic. Has anyone tried these?

2. Happy Mother's Day weekend.. Cant wait to spend time with my sweet family and kids.. They mean the world to me and is what made me a mom.. Here are some of my favs!

3. Hello Fresh......is the best!!! When we came home from the hospital someone sent us Hello Fresh to help us with dinner. FRIDAY IS HERE!!!!!!!

1. On Tuesday I met with my Dr at 34 weeks and he told me he wanted to start once a week because he had a feeling this baby is coming early...I am super excited to meet sweet baby Porter but also, want him to be in as long as possible... So this weekend we are finishing up his nursery and packing a bag to have incase he comes within the next weeks :) How many of you went early with your second? Lily Jane came at 36 weeks.....only 2 weeks away

2. Mommy Hospital bag.. what was your number 1 thing you brought to the hospital that you could not live without there??? I need some ideas

3. Dairy Free coffee creamer?? Thinking of buying all my diary free stuff and starting next week so I am prepared when my little man comes.. Has anyone tired these Dairy Free creamers?





Happy Friday....Sweet baby Boy

Another Friday down....5 Friday's left maybe until we get to meet sweet baby boy :) We can't wait




1.This week we got to see baby Porter.. He is getting so big and they could see he already has hair :) He was moving all around. They say normally at 33 weeks you don't get to see good pictures of the baby, but we got some sweet feet pictures and his profile. I loved getting to see him, and can't wait to snuggle with him..

2.This week I made it a point to take Lily Jane to get ice cream.. Trying to get in last minute dates with my little girl before baby comes along. I know it will be so important to make special dates with her....

3. I got some new make up and I am loving it.. It is Tarte Amazonian Clay 12-Hour Full Coverage Foundation SPF 1, and it goes on so smooth!!!!

4. Who is ready for the weekend?? I am so ready to put my feet up and rest.. We have 2 birthday parties to go to on Saturday....This momma is going to be tired..

Inauguration DAY

Today is Inauguration Day.. I think whether or not we voted for Trump it is still history. the 45th President will take office today. Our kids will read about it in the textbook. I am going to be watching it today as I think it is important to understand and be able to talk about it.. What are your plans on this Inauguration Day??

 

Friday is here.......Lilly Sale

I am so glad it is FRIDAY!!! I feel like this week has been very long.. Anyone else?


1.So I went yesterday for my 28 dr apt and my dr was not happy with me. He told me I gained to much weight since the last time I was there. I asked him did he know it was the holiday's? LOL.. So the next few months I am really going to watch what I eat. I feel like I have gained so much for with the 2nd and have gotten so much bigger. Any mommas out there feel the same or experience this with 2nd baby. Its hard to find time when you are chasing your 3 year old around. I also, think it is the new job I am sitting to long, I got to get moving!!!


2. This year we are going to have a lot of new changes. My hubby got a new job and will start on MONDAY!!! We are so excited for him and just keep praying this is where GOD wants him. We also will welcome our sweet baby boy in a few months. Life will be crazy but I would not change it for the world.


3. I am thinking about taking some time away from the blog when the baby comes so I can focus on all my duties of being a wonderful wife and mommy. I am going to miss my blog so much but have realized life is way to short to not be able to enjoy all the wonderful things God puts in front of us.


4. How many of you think the Lilly Sale yesterday was crazy??? Next year I am going to the store and shopping there. The site crashed so early and people were not even able to shop until 2-3 hours after they said it was going to start. I know this happens every year, so I am wondering why they don't get it fix. I did score some fun little goodies. I got several pairs of shorts ( I have never bought shorts before, so I hope after baby they fit) What was your favorite thing you bought?

What a long week it has been... Wish we could relax this weekend, but we are off to Orlando for a wedding!!!




1. I was so excited I got to see sweet baby boy this week. He was playing peak-a-boo :) such a sweet and neat experience to get to see your child. I think it is so crazy that you are able to carry a baby inside of you and how much it grows each time. Can't wait to hold this sweet baby

2. We brought the elf out last weekend and we have been having so much fun with her. This week my MIL had to have hip replacement surgery (and did great) so one day the ELF had surgery as well :) Lily Jane thought that was so funny. She thinks my MIL is getting a new purple hip...

3. This week we made our annual Gingerbread house. This year it was so much fun because Lily Jane was able to decorate it and (EAT most of the candy lol). I wanted to try and start a new tradition each year with her so we are trying to think of this year we will add doing a family ice skating and hot chocolate with a car ride looking at lights! What do you like to do with your kids each year??

4.Heading off to Orlando for my husbands best friends wedding!!! I can't wait to be able to go shopping by myself and maybe get some Christmas shopping done :)

Happy Friday...Countdown

Oh how I am excited for today!!! Its our favorite day FRIDAY!!!!

The countdown has already began...7 days until we take Little Miss to DISNEY!! She is going to love it.. I can't wait to see the excitement she will have when we go.. Disney is already decorated for Christmas so I am so excited to see it.. Our next Disney trip we will plan far in advance so we can do a Princess breakfast etc.... We will enjoy this trip for a long time!

Starbucks new green cups.. I am loving the color of them. I adore the red cups but the green cups will have to work for now... It makes me happy, even though I am not drinking a lot of coffee right now I still love seeing them around..

Tuesday is the big day.. ELECTION DAY....I am so fearful for our country.. This is one election I have not looked forward to voting for.. I have so many mixed emotions but one thing I know for sure is I am glad I won't have to see so many campaign ads on tv....

I am so excited that it is Friday because I made it another week...  Being pregnant the weeks are so long to me. All I want to do is cuddle up in the bed and not get out.. So I am excited I can sleep in tomorrow :) This week has been a struggle.. I feel like the worst mom ever.. Trying to take care of a 2.5 year old, do laundry, work 2 jobs and still be a good wife is hard.. My goal for next week is to FOCUS on my family and not worry about anything else. I think this will help when we have a 2nd one to realize what's important in life and what is not...

Sorry I have been MIA this week.. It has been a crazy week... I have wanted to hug my little one harder and longer than ever before..

I pray for all the families this week that were hurt by all the tragedy in Orlando. I can't even sit here and image. What is this world coming too? Its very scary.. All I can do is PRAY HARDER TO GOD!!

This week I accepted a new job and I start on MONDAY.. I am very scared and excited. I am taking a leap of FAITH.. I hope God is leading me in the right direction. I will see how it goes... Please say a prayer for me on Monday..



This week Little Miss finished 2 weeks of swim lessons. She did great!! So proud of her. She cried the first week then the second week was so much better.

This week I also repainted a cabinet in the bathroom and it turned out so good. I used Amy Howard Chalk paint :)

This weekend we are heading to ATL to audition for Family Feud.. I can't wait to write my post about how it went and give all the details!!!!
