Rough Week
This week has been a rough week, My mom was here visiting us and on Thursday night she got really sick. I had to take her to the ER. In the mist of everything happening the hubby was out of town for business so thank GOD for amazing neighbors, that ran over to take care of the kids. They got here at about 7:45.I took my mom to the ER, poor thing she broke out in hives was running a fever chills and bad stomach pain. They took her in and ran all kinds of test. Thankfully nothing major. She had a bad reaction to medicine and stomach ulcer. They sent us home at about 2:15. Needles to say I went to bed at 3 and was so tired, the kids woke up at 6:15 and I had to take care of my mom and the kids. The MR. didn't get home until 9:30 that night and I was so tired.. I needed a break to sleep alll DAY... So my mom is finally feeling better and we took her back home 3 hours away yesterday afternoon.

Weekend Rewind
This weekend was so busy..I felt like we where non stop
Friday- Was my last day at work for the SUMMER :) I took Lily Jane with me to school and she had a blast cleaning up my room.She ran around wild. We then went to the pool for the afternoon it was amazing. All her little friends and their moms were at the pool. It was nice to just relax and play with her..
Saturday-The hubby played golf and we played all morning. Lily Jane wanted to go to the pool again but it rained all afternoon so we went to get snow cones! The kids eat them all up.. Then we cooked pizza together as a family!! I love cooking and eating as a family
Sunday-We went to church and had a luncheon at church. Then we had 2 birthday parities at the same time.So we went to 1 for the first hour then went to the 2nd one for the last hour. We ran around crazy... Then we went to the pool again.. I can see our summers future at the pool all the time.. Which I am so much more about sitting under the shade a lot of the time.. I had 2 scares with little spots that were cancerous but they were able to get them...

Weekend Review + Derby Party
Wow another week has gone by.. I get sadder knowing I am going to have to go back to work soon. I don't understand how full time working moms or stay at home moms has enough time to work, cook, clean, take the kids places, and blog. I am struggling trying to balance it all. How do you do it??? I would love to hear??
Friday was a good day...I drove the the airport to pick up one of my dearest friends to spend the weekend with us. Laure and I have been friends for 15 years.. We met in high school and were in each there weddings. We live far apart but when we are together it is like old times and we pick up right were we left off. She came to meet Baby Porter.. We went and ate Mexican because of course it was Cinco de Mayo...
Saturday- We woke up and went to brunch.. We then came back and cooked stuff for the Kentucky Derby party we went to.. I also made my last minute Derby Hat that turned out so cute... We then went to the Derby party with all my friends and had a blast. We also had to go to dance rehersal practice because Sunday was dance recital day!!
Sunday-We hung out and just had girl time...it was so nice... Then we had to get little miss ready for her dance recital... She had so much fun and did a great job at her recital.....Then we had to take Lauren to the airpot and I was so sad to watch her leave.. It was so nice to have her visit and can't wait to go to Charlotte to visit her!!!!!

Weekend Wrap
Weekends are getting shorter how is that possible... These last weekends before baby comes have been so busy that I have not been able to rest for baby. I really hope he comes soon... My body is ready....
Friday we hung out and took Lily Jane to the park after school to let her run some energy out. I swear she has so much energy I don't know where she gets it from.
Saturday we tried to run last minute errands before 2 birthday parties. We had two birthday parties within 2 hours of each other. So we went to the first party and then had to leave to go to the next party. Then we just went out to eat because this momma was tired. My feet have started to swell and I am not sure what's going on. With my first my feet never swelled.. I think this baby is ready.
Sunday, Lily Jane slept until 8:30 (really 7:30) but hey I will take it. She has been not wanting to take naps on the weekends which makes it very difficult. Any of your little ones stop taking naps on the weekends? How old were they? She takes naps at school but not on weekends not sure how that happened. Then my girlfriend wanted to do a photo shoot for this company that rents animals, so she needed little girls so we took Lily Jane out to the farm to see animals. She was unsure of the animals at first but then had a blast ;)

Weeekend Wrap
Wow I so needed this weekend to jut rest.. I have been going 100 miles a minute and it was nice to have no plans and just rest and run errands. I am so glad my hubby is back and now sweet baby can come at any time :) How many of you have been induced at 39 weeks? If baby is not here I am signing up....
Friday, I left an hour early from work to go home and lay down and rest before I had to go get little miss before hubby came home. He has been gone for 3 days for training. I am so glad to have him back because I can stop stressing.. Then we needed to have dinner and now I am starting my dairy free it has been difficult finding dinners and food items to eat.. It takes us a good 30 minutes to figure out what we are going to eat.... We finally decided on good old chicken :)
Saturday, we took little Miss to Home Depot to get last minute things we needed at the house and they were having a kids building workshop.. She loved it.. She was so proud to build her rain gauge... Then, we had to go home so she could paint it... She told hubby she needed tools now to help fix things around the house (scary)
Then we just hung out and out of the blue my mom called and said she was coming into town.. Little Miss was so excited and did not want to do or go anywhere until my mom got in town.. It is so sweet to see the bond between them... Then we all ate dinner and hung out..
Sunday, we all went to church, which was so nice to be able to do that. Then we took Lily Jane to the FSU baseball game and she loved it. I think she is going to be like her mommy, she just peopled watched and was asking so many questions did not really care about the baseball being played :)
LOL.. That is so my child!!!! I love her and now we wait for baby number 2!!!!
Friday, I left an hour early from work to go home and lay down and rest before I had to go get little miss before hubby came home. He has been gone for 3 days for training. I am so glad to have him back because I can stop stressing.. Then we needed to have dinner and now I am starting my dairy free it has been difficult finding dinners and food items to eat.. It takes us a good 30 minutes to figure out what we are going to eat.... We finally decided on good old chicken :)

Weekend rewind......Santa Visit
What a jammed packed weekend we had.. I need a vacation day from a vacation :)
Friday- I drove down to Orlando for one of our best friends wedding. The Omni at Champions Gate was amazing! What a pretty resort it was.. We arrived and had to quickly check in and get ready for the rehearsal that my husband had to go to and then the dinner was at 6. It was a long drive for me because my back was killing me and has been hurting so I was so glad when all the activities were over so I could put my feet up.
Saturday- Jeff had to wake up and play golf in the morning and then had wedding things all day so I had the day to my self. It was the first time in a long time that I could do whatever I wanted.....So I went to IKEA and the Outlets. I really needed to get a little book shelf for the babies closet and do some Christmas shopping. I was able to do some shopping for myself too :) Tory Burch was having a great sale and scored some amazing sandals :) I then got a phone call from Jeff asking me if I could be back at the hotel by 2 and I was like sure what do you need me to do. He asked if I could help do things for the wedding. When I got back to the hotel he surprised me with a massage :) It was amazing. It was the best prenatal massage I have ever had!!! After the massage it was wedding time! We had such a fun time celebrating with the bride and groom.
Sunday- We woke up super early to drive back and to get little miss. We missed her dearly :) She was so excited to see us, us too!! We then had to go to a friends Cookie decorating, Polar Express, Santa Visit Party! It was so much fun to end the weekend with wonderful friends! The kids have so much fun playing with each other!
