Wish List

I know I am so behind but when I sat down to think about what my top gifts wanted were, I had such a hard time thinking of anything...... Each year it gets harder and harder, because we just buy so much through out the year. But here are my top 4 items this year.. This year I wanted more mental/emotional gifts :) With this baby coming I want to be clam and connected with my family as much as possible knowing having a 2nd will through life off just a little bit!!!!

This year I really wanted simple things.

1. Salt Lamp- I have heard great things about it... Not sure if it really works but I think the mental state of just looking at it brings some type of peace!

2. Beach towel- I want to take trips this summer often to the beach with both kids (I know both kids I am crazy but I love the beach)

3. Cozy PJS when the baby comes :) Not sure how many days I will get out of my pjs!!!!

4. Young Living Essential Oils-I am going to hop on the bandwagon and try these oils out. I have heard amazing things about the oils.. NOW there is so much to learn just about oils.... I am going to need a cheat sheet on how to use them all...

Christmas Card/New Year

This Momma has been so busy that she finally got her Christmas/New Year card together. Since I was so late I decided to do  a Happy New Year so people can keep mine up longer :) I love my little girls faces in her photos. I just had to do the one when she had a crazy face because that is her… She just turned 1 in Nov and not everyone got to come so I wanted to showcase her!!! I love how they turned out!!!!

A little visit to Santa

We took Lily Jane to visit Santa last night and I had no idea how this was going to go.. In my mind I was thinking she was going to sit there and look at him and pull on his beard and just laugh.. I was also thinking this is going to be so sweet and a great photo……OH BOY was I very wrong.. Lily Jane freaked out and did not like Santa… I felt so bad for her but also had to try to capture the moment and this is what we got!!!!! I know that everyone probably has a pic like this.. She will not like me when she gets older and I keep a photo like this….How old was it that your little one finally liked Santa???

Christmas Breakfast Recipes

Breakfast is my all time most favorite meal of the day.. I have to eat breakfast every single morning or I get cranky.. it's weird I know..  Its a tradition that we always cook a Christmas Breakfast at our house and has been even before we had Lily Jane. I want to keep that tradition going. I am going to try and make some cute breakfast for Lily Jane as she gets older. I found a couple yummy recipes that I am going to try this year.. that are easy... What do you do for Christmas morning breakfast? 

 We made these at Lily Jane's Birthday and they were delicious.. Instead of making all the pancakes we got the mini frozen ones :)

A few Favorite Christmas Gifts Under $100

Man I can't believe its already December 2.. Where has this year gone.. Christmas is my favorite time of the year, I always want to sit by a nice fire drink my coffee and stare at the lights on the Christmas tree and think about the year… This time of the year is also about buying our loved ones gifts.  I am linking up with April, Zelle, Elise, and Katie  to share some of my Favorite Things for under $100 :) The items that I picked out I would love to give them to any of my girlfriends, mother, mother in law, sister in law, cousins or aunts.. I might even want them :)

Happy Friday!! Christmas Traditions

Five on Friday!!!!

This week my 5 on Friday is going to be a little different because this week has been so crazy, with Lily Jane's 1st birthday party on Saturday and having everyone coming into town.. Which I am so excited but nervous all at the same time

So I am doing a little post on Family Traditions


This will be my Minis 2nd Christmas. Her first Christmas was a blur as she was only 4 weeks old. I think my husband and I were so thrown off with having a new baby and a life change. I am so excited to start some family traditions. Growing up we never really had set family traditions that we did so now that I am a Mommy I want to start them with my family. I think we will do more when Lily Jane can really understand wants going on..
