Weekend Recap...30a

Wow... I did not realize its been a while since I have shared whats been going on in our life.. Man having 2 kids is no joke...Deff a game changer.. I have been so tired trying to get both of them on a schedule, I just gave up. Last weekend we decided to do a little beach trip with the family. My dad was coming to visit Porter and we decided to head to the beach. It was so much fun. The beach is one of our favorite places to go as a family. I was very scared about Porter being on the beach, and all the stuff we would have to bring. Porter did amazing and I did not bring as much stuff as I thought i needed (I guess second kid). We headed down to 30a (destin) area for the weekend. It is the absolute best beach we have been to. The water is always so blue and the drinks are the best!! If you have never been down to 30a....well you should check it out you would not regret it..

Beach Day 2

Day 2!!! Bring it on.
Saturday Lily Jane woke up at 5 am :( which is really 6am our time so it was not unusual but we hate to get up early on vacation. She was so excited she could not stand it. So we packed everything up made breakfast and then went off to the beach. The nice thing is that they have a golf cart at the house so we did not have to drive anywhere which made it super nice :) We went to the beach and lasted about 2 hours which I was so proud of the girls. They started to get hot and wanted to go back and eat lunch. We went back to the house and let them eat lunch and take naps. The adults were able to layout at the pool and hang out. When the girls woke up we all went in the pool and played around for the rest of the afternoon. Then the girls got baths and we headed the Baytown to go get dinner and let the girls look at boats and dance around. I love going to places that have outdoor eatings so the girls can dance around and sing.. After dinner we took the girls to get ice cream and then took some family pictures!! On Sunday we went to eat at my favorite restaurant for breakfast. DONUT HOLE!!! If you ever go down to Destin, FL you have to go to DONUT HOLE!!!! Sorry for the photo load!!!

Weekend Review+ Beach Day 1

What a nice long weekend we had. I took off work Friday and Monday and was able to spend a nice long time at the beach. We went to Destin (which is my happy place) After leaving there I am always so sad because I want to go back.... 

Friday- We went with another family to Destin and we had so much fun. Our friends have a little girl Lily Jane's age and they had a ball. We went down early and got to the house and unpacked and went to the store to get tons of food and snacks for the girls. We then went down to the beach and Lily Jane loved it. She ran straight for the water... Gave me a heart attack because she does not know how to swim and she look off for the water!! I love that sweet girl she is full of life and it makes me take a step back and not worry so much... I see many beach trips in the future for us!! Friday Night we went back and the girls made homemade pizza. They loved every second of it!!
